Drilling Capabilities

Savage Drilling offers state-of-the art drilling equipment and services at highly competitive prices and are conveniently located in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Along with serving Texas we can travel outside of the state to preform various drilling services that include mud rotary, air rotary, rock drilling, and wire line sampling. Along with Geotechnical we offer other drilling services that include Multi Aggregate & Rock Exploration, Interior & Exterior Pavement & Concrete Coring. Savage has been in business since 2015 and has consistently expanded our drilling capabilities with experienced drillers and up to date equipment. All Savage Drilling employees carry OSHA 30 safety certification along with any job specific training needed. We are always looking to expand our customer base. Currently we are drilling on Transmission lines, TXDOT, BSNF/Union Pacific Railroads, Residential, and commercial construction.

2021 CME LCX 55 - Track Drill

Drilling capabilities include Automatic hammer, TXDOT, Wireline, and Rock Core (Air and Water) This is remote control operated rig which allows for this rig to be maneuvered into hard to reach borings, along with this also has the ability to run a low clearance mast. This Rig is Hauled by a Freightliner with Ledwell Rollback

2008 CME 75 - Truck Drill

Savage CME 75 has been an incredible addition to the fleet. This drill is mounted on a 2020 Freightliner 145SD. The drill has full Rock Core capabilities (Air and Water), Automatic Hammer, Wireline, and TXDOT Certified. This rig has allowed us to reach deeper borings into some of the hardest rock in Texas.

2000 CME 55 - Track Drill

The CME 55 track drill is mounted on a 2015 IHI Personnel Carrier. This carrier mounted rig allows for fast traveling from boring to boring. This rig has been specifically successful in moving across wide open fields. It is outfitted for Automatic hammer, TXDOT, Wireline, and Rock Core (Air and Water). The rig is transported by a 2019 Peterbilt 348 with a Ledwell Hydraulic dovetail bed.
